Based on the key ingredient of glutathione makes The Prefect Peel different to all other chemical peel products on the market. It can be used on all skin types, requires no pre-peel skin preparation routine and is quick and simple to perform, with treatment in clinic taking less than 15 minutes.
The unique formula of glutathione allows for an increase in lifting of fine lines and wrinkles as well as lightening of pigmentation concerns such as melasma, sun damage and hyperpigmentation.
Glutathione is an antioxidant. It can penetrate deeply into the skin, getting down to the cellular level to fight oxidative stress, clear free radicals and repair the damage it induces. This is what makes it a great skin peeling option for targeting anti-ageing concerns such as fine lines and premature wrinkles.
Even better, glutathione is something that we already produce naturally in our bodies, so all we are doing is adding additional power into the skin to help light and brighten the complexion as it has the added effect of being a skin lightener.
The Perfect Peel™ contains glutathione alongside other peeling agents including kojic acid, trichloroacetic acid (TCA), retinoic acid, salicylic acid and phenol with a blend of other antioxidants and vitamins including Vitamin C which is a building block for new skin cells.
The Perfect Peel™ is a non-invasive skin peel, regarded as a medium depth peel and is a relatively pain free treatment, resulting in 5-7 days of peeling.

All skin types (Fitzpatrick 1-6) are safe to treat and will reveal considerable improvements from The Perfect Peel™. This treatment formula was also designed to help improve various problematic skin conditions.
Acne is a major skin condition that this treatment is tailored to resolve. The Perfect Peel™ helps minimise the damage and scarring done by acne. The Glutathione helps increase cellular turnover to dramatically improve stubborn acne scars. A series of peels will be necessary to diminish the damage and scarring. To assess your suitability though, we must first see you for a consultation to discuss your full medical history, including any medications that you may be taking, and to perform a physical examination of your skin.
If you are pregnant of breast feeding you will not be suitable for treatment.
You will also be unsuitable for The Perfect Peel, or any other of our chemical peel treatments if you have an active skin infection, such as cold sores (herpes) in the area to be treated. If you have been taking Roaccutane for a skin concern, you will be advised to cease this 3 month’s prior to your appointment for this peel.
You may feel a slight stinging or tingling sensation which will subside after just a few seconds. Numbing takes place once the first application has been applied.
Immediately after the peel has been applied the skin will either appear red like a sunburn or darker. On day three peeling will begin. The Perfect Peel™ home care moisturiser (included in the cost of the treatment) will reduce the visibility of peeling by hydrating the skin. By day six or seven the peeling process should be complete. Exposure to the sun should be avoided.
